On 19 June 2026, an Industrial Talk for the course BSD2143 Operational Research was successfully conducted by the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (Pusat Sains Matematik, PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). The session was held online via Microsoft Teams from 9.00 pm to 11.00 pm.

CYBERJAYA, 19 June 2026 – Representatives from the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), conducted a visit to CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM) to strengthen the long-standing collaboration between both institutions in implementing Work-Based Learning (WBL). UMPSA was represented by Dr. Norhafizah Sarif, Dr. Adam Shariff Adli Aminuddin, and Dr. Nur Haizum Abd Rahman, while CSM was represented by Ts. Mohammad Zaharudin Ahmad Darus.
On May 14, 2026, the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM) at UMPSA successfully hosted a Global Classroom session for the course BUM2123 Applied Calculus (Semester II, 2025/26). The session featured Associate Professor Dr. Dipo Aldila from the Department of Mathematics, Universitas Indonesia, as the guest speaker.
On Wednesday, 13 May 2026, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme entitled Math Honeycomb: Add Math Tri-Focus SPM was successfully conducted at SMK Pelabuhan from 8.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. The programme was an initiative by Pusat Sains Matematik UMPSA aimed at enhancing students’ mastery of Additional Mathematics, particularly in preparation for the SPM examination.
