On 9th – 12th June 2025, there are 43 Work Based Learning (WBL) students from the programme of Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honours who have been successfully presented their Data Science Project II. All the presented projects are data-driven research projects and involve Data Science and Analytics cycle or skills.

Pekan, 9 September 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) held the 1447H Maulidur Rasul Commemoration at Masjid Al-Jazari UMPSA, Pekan Campus, in a meaningful and uplifting atmosphere that brought together staff, students, and the wider university community. The Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM) joined the procession with great enthusiasm, proudly carrying their banner and marching in coordinated traditional Malay attire.

On 2 September 2025, Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norhayati Rosli, hosted a discussion session with PETRONAS to explore potential areas of research collaboration.   The meeting brought together PETRONAS experts: 1. Mohamad Adnan Ayob, Principal Engineer (Head of Mechanical), PETRONAS IRSO East Coast 2. Muhammad Fadzli, Staff Engineer (Mechanical), PETRONAS Technical Services Sdn. Bhd.

The Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah, would like to extend our deepest gratitude and highest appreciation to Professor Dr. Mohd Zuki bin Salleh on the occasion of his retirement, effective 1 September 2025. Throughout his distinguished career, Prof. Dr. Mohd Zuki has been an inspiring educator, a dedicated mentor, and a driving force in advancing the academic excellence of our centre.
