Hari Penasihatan Akademik is one of the main initiatives designed to be implemented by the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) for students of Foundation in Science and Technology Program (AST) for the Academic Session 2024/2025. This program aims to strengthen the relationship between students and academic advisors, as well as provide structured guidance to help students adjust to academic life at the university. Additionally, it serves as an important platform to build strong bonds among the students themselves.

In an exciting initiative to enhance mathematics education, students from the Foundation  in Science and Technology (AST), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) have introduced an innovative life-size indoor math game at SK Fakeh Abd Samad. The program aligns with UMPSA's "Profesor Turun Padang" initiative, which aims to bring academic expertise and innovative teaching methods directly to local communities.

A significant initiative to promote research collaboration between universities in Malaysia and Indonesia was organised by Telkom University (Tel-U) with the participation of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), and Universitas Islam Riau (UIR). The initiative event began with the "Final Presentation of the International Joint Research Project (IJRP)" on 28th to 29th August 2024, followed by a collaborative discussion titled "Initiation of International Joint Research Program Collaboration Malaysia-Indonesia" held on 30th August 2024 at Telkom University (Tel-U).
