On 18 April 2025, a workshop entitled "Upskilling with Microsoft Excel" was held at Blok M, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Gambang Campus. The event was organised by the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM) to strengthen students’ proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially in the field of Data Analytics.

Two esteemed staff members from PSM UMPSA, Associate Professor Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohd Kasim and Associate Professor Dr. Zulkhibri Ismail, were invited as speakers at the 3rd International Conference on Recent Advances in Mathematics 2025 (CORAM 2025). The conference was held from 16-17 April 2025 organized by University of Education, Lahore, gathering researchers and academicians from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in mathematical sciences.

On 13 April 2025, the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CSM) conducted a training session on Risk-Based Inspection (RBI): API 580 for the RBI team of Kemaman Bitumen Corporation (KBC) Sdn. Bhd. The training covered four (4) modules, namely: Module 1 – Introduction, Purpose & Scope, Basic Risk Concept, Introduction to RBI. Module 2 – Planning of the RBI Assessment, Data Collection, Damage Mechanism & Failure Mode. Module 3 – Probability of Failure (PoF), Consequences of Failure (CoF) & Risk Determination. Module 4 – Risk Management with Inspection Activity, Re-assessment & Updating, Roles, Responsibility, Training & Certification.
