Aspirasi Gemilang AST 2025/2026 Programme
Gambang, 16 January 2026 – The Aspirasi Gemilang AST 2025/2026 Programme, organised by the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), was successfully conducted with the participation of 34 Foundation in Science and Technology (AST) students from the 2025/2026 cohort. Also in attendance were the Deputy Dean (Academic) of PSM, Dr. Norhafizah binti Md Sarif, and the former AST Programme Coordinator, Dr. Farahanim binti Misni. The programme aimed to assist students in planning their academic pathways more strategically in alignment with their future career aspirations.
The programme featured two main sharing sessions. The first session, titled “How to Survive and Thrive in Campus Life,” was delivered by Puan Nur Atiqah binti Mohd Nor, a Psychology Officer from Pusat Sejahtera, who provided insights into adapting to campus life and maintaining personal well-being. The second session, “Fundamentals of Career Development,” was conducted by Puan Syahida Adilla binti Ismail and Nurul Arina Raihan binti Che Azmi from the UMPSA Career Centre.


Through this programme, students gained valuable information regarding campus facilities, the importance of developing soft skills and communication skills from the foundation level, as well as early guidance on career selection based on interests and personality. Overall, the programme is expected to enhance AST students’ awareness and readiness in building a clearer and more competitive academic and career direction.
