Mathematical Monthly Colloquium (MMC) 1/2025

On January 24, 2025, PSM UMPSA held its first Monthly Mathematical Colloquium (MMC) of the year. The event took place virtually on MS Teams and featured three postgraduate presenters who shared their research with the audience. The first presenter, Nur Syahirah binti Zulkipli, a PhD candidate supervised by Dr. Siti Zanariah binti Satari, presented her work titled "Clustering-based procedures for identifying multiple outliers in univariate circular biological data."

On Monday, February 10th, 2025, the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM) at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Gambang campus, had the distinct honour of co-hosting an academic collaboration meeting with Edustats Solutions. The Centre for Mathematical Sciences at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) successfully organized "Aspirasi Gemilang AST" on February 11, 2025, at ZDK03. The program aimed to equip AST (Foundation in Science and Technology) students with essential skills for university life while providing valuable insights into their future academic and career pathways.

The spirit of unity and cultural appreciation came alive as Confucius Institute, UMPSA together with Foundation of Sciences and Technology (AST), PSM hosted a vibrant Chinese New Year Cultural Programme on 21st January 2025 at Block W, UMPSA, Gambang. The event, organized to celebrate the rich traditions of the Chinese New Year, saw enthusiastic participation from AST students, PSM staff, and staff from Confucius Institute as well.
