PSM Researcher Secures MAIPs Research Grant to Advance Data-Driven Educational Decision Support System
The Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), proudly congratulates Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Noryanti Muhammad on being awarded the Faizuddin Centre of Educational Excellence (FCoEE) Research Grant worth RM7,000 during the Penganugerahan Geran Penyelidikan FCoEE Fasa 3 Tahun 2026.
The grant was awarded in recognition of the research project entitled:
"A Data-Driven Decision Support System for Enhancing Educational Outcomes and Socioeconomic Mobility of Asnaf Students."
The research is conducted collaboratively with:
- Dr. Mohamad Hilmi bin Mat Said (PSK)
- Dr. Siti Aisyah Zakaria (UNIMAP)
- Dr. Sufi Hafawati Binti Ideris (PSM)

This interdisciplinary research aims to develop a comprehensive data-driven decision support system that leverages analytics and evidence-based approaches to enhance educational achievement while improving the socioeconomic mobility of asnaf students. The project is expected to provide valuable insights for policymakers and educational institutions in designing more effective intervention strategies and resource allocation.
The grant presentation ceremony was held in conjunction with the Penganugerahan Geran Penyelidikan FCoEE Fasa 3 Tahun 2026, attended by university management, researchers, strategic partners, and grant recipients from various institutions. The event celebrated research excellence and reinforced collaborative efforts in addressing national and community challenges through impactful research.
