Monthly Mathematical Colloquium (MMC) 6/2023

On the 24th of November 2023, Pusat Sains Matematik (PSM) achieved another successful milestone by organizing the sixth Monthly Mathematical Colloquium (MMC) of the year. This gathering served as a platform for intellectual exchange and featured a knowledge-sharing session by one Master student, who was under the supervision of Dr. Nor Azuana Ramli.

On 15th November 2023, Big Cleaning Program was held at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences. This program is initiated by the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) Committee, PSM through the Strategic & Quality Management Center (PPSK), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah.

Workshop on Curriculum Quality Improvement (CQI) and Direction of the Foundation in Science and Technology (AST) Program UMPSA 2023

A Foundation in Science and Technology (AST) Curriculum Improvement and Direction Workshop was held on 7 and 8 November 2023 at Glass Hall, Mangala Resort & Spa, Gambang. The tentative of workshops are the refinement of teaching plans involving changes to the subject synopsis of the AST Program, mapping of course and program outcome, updating of latest reference materials, designing the appropriate assessment according to the course outcomes, and the improvement of the syllabus in the subject.

PSM UMPSA participated in Karnival Minggu Sains Negara Peringkat Negeri Pahang 2023

Karnival Minggu Sains Negara Peringkat Negeri Pahang 2023 took place over 2 days, from November 10 to 11, 2023. All PTJ at UMPSA were actively involved, managing their respective booths at the carnival. This carnival aimed to raise awareness among the public about the importance of Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) in daily life. Additionally, it was hoped to generate interest and increase the number of students choosing STEM disciplines in line with the national STEM agenda.
