On the December 13, 2024, PSM UMPSA achieved another successful milestone by organizing the fourth Monthly Mathematical Colloquium (MMC) of the year. This gathering served as a platform for intellectual exchange and featured a knowledge-sharing session by two PhD students. The audience displayed enthusiastic participation, actively engaging with the speakers. They offered constructive suggestions and comments, contributing to a dynamic exchange of ideas.

On 9 December 2024, the Centre for Mathematical Sciences organised an industry academic visit to National Water Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM) under the Statistical Modelling and Simulation Course (BSD3443) to enhance the understanding of third year Bachelor of Science in Applied Data Analytics with Honours students, regarding the teaching and learning of this course.

On 8 November 2024, the 'Seronoknya Matematik' programme brought lots of excitement to Sekolah Kebangsaan Pandan (SoPAN) in Kuantan, Pahang. The main goal was to help students get a better grasp of essential maths concepts, including numbers, basic operations, rounding, and sequences. To make it engaging, we included a module on "deserted island survival," where students used maths skills like basic operations, measurement, and percentages in creative scenarios.

On November 8, 2024, the Maths Explorer program took place successfully at Sekolah Kebangsaan Pandan (SoPAN) in Kuantan, Pahang. Organized by Pusat Sains Matematik (PSM), UMPSA, the program was sponsored by the Professor Turun Padang (PTP) grant from the Jabatan Jaringan Industri & Masyarakat, UMPSA.
