In an exciting initiative to enhance mathematics education, students from the Foundation in Science and Technology (AST), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) have introduced an innovative life-size indoor math game at SK Fakeh Abd Samad. The program aligns with UMPSA's "Profesor Turun Padang" initiative, which aims to bring academic expertise and innovative teaching methods directly to local communities.
A significant initiative to promote research collaboration between universities in Malaysia and Indonesia was organised by Telkom University (Tel-U) with the participation of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), and Universitas Islam Riau (UIR). On 11 September 2024, three lecturers from the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), UMPSA successfully conducted training session for the International Mathematical Olympiad National Selection Test (IMONST) for eight outstanding students from Maahad Tahfiz Negeri Pahang, Kuantan.
