Monthly Mathematical Colloquium (MMC) 4, 2025

26 September 2025 - Pusat Sains Matematik (PSM) successfully organized the 4^th Monthly Mathematical Colloquium (MMC). The session featured a knowledge sharing presentation by postgraduate student Nur Ainaa Najihah Binti Abdil Shakri, under the supervision of Dr. Mohd Khairul Bazli Bin Mohd Aziz.

Nur Ainaa presented her research titled “Analytical Hierarchical Process and Geographical Information System to Determine the Potential Landfill Sites in Pahang”. Her presentation highlighted the integration of statistical decision-making tools with spatial analysis techniques to address pressing environmental and societal challenges.

Following her presentation, several questions were raised by the panels and participants, fostering clarity and ideas for future improvement. The session concluded with a group photo of all lecturers and postgraduate students who participated in MMC4/2025.

PSM expresses its sincere appreciation to Nur Ainaa Najihah Binti Abdil Shakri for her valuable sharing. It is hoped that this colloquium has provided the audience with fruitful insights into the field of statistics and data analytics.
