On 16th July 2024, the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) hosted and welcomed a delegation from the Statistics Department and Actuarial Department, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya, Indonesia. This academic collaboration visit aims to strengthen international ties and explore opportunities between the two institutions.
The Centre for Mathematical Sciences at UMPSA recently organized a thrilling team building event at Tekoma Resort, Kuala Tahan, Pahang. The three-day program, which took place from July 26 to 28, 2024, saw the participation of 35 staff members who engaged in various activities designed to enhance teamwork and communication skills. The event, dubbed "Bengkel Hala Tuju Strategik dan Pengukuhan Organisasi," featured a diverse range of activities.
PSM hosted an appreciation ceremony to honor its recent win at the Majlis Hari Kualiti dan Inovasi UMPSA 2024. The team was awarded the prestigious Anugerah Merit in the Anugerah Kualiti Naib Canselor category. In his speech, Professor Dr. Mohd Zuki, Dean of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences UMPSA, expressed gratitude to the entire team for their contributions to this success. He dedicated the award to the dedicated staff and expressed optimism about securing the Main Award in the future.
