A total of 37 students from the Foundation of Science and Technology (AST), Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) had organised a Programme called "Perwira Untuk Ibu Pertiwi" at Sekolah Kebangsaan Pandan, Kuantan on 9 September 2023.A total of 100 students comprising Standard 5 and 6 as well as teachers of Sekolah Kebangsaan Pandan together with their parents were actively involved in the respective programme.

For a group of intrepid data analytics students from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), the year 2023 brought an opportunity to plunge into uncharted waters and explore the world of cybersecurity. This incredible journey unfolded as they proudly represented UMPSA in the PETRONAS Inter-University 2023 Capture The Flag (CTF) Competition.

We would like to wish heartiest congratulation to Dr Zulkhibri Ismail @ Mustofa on his new appointment as Deputy Dean (Research & Postgraduate Studies) at PSM UMP from 27 September 2023 until 19 August 2025. He was appointed to the post for the first time from 20 August 2019 until 19 August 2021. This situation can be summarised as if he had returned to the handle. We hope with his presence, it can elevate PSM UMPSA to more success!
