The winning project, titled “Dynamic Learning System for BEV Charging Demand Prediction,” addresses a pressing issue in the transportation sector, which significantly impacts global emissions. The transition to battery electric vehicles (BEVs) is crucial for reducing emissions but poses challenges to national grids and electricity generation systems. This concern spurred Dr. Roslinazairimah and her team to create a software capable of accurately predicting electricity demand from the private BEV charging point.

A discussion on the “Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for Work Based Learning (WBL) Education” between the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) and LEAD for the Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honours (2u2i Mode) has taken place virtually on 16 April 2024.

Centre for Mathematical Sciences would like to congratulate the winners of the 14th Creation, Innovation, Technology & Research Exposition (CITREX 2024) which has been held on 8 – 9 May 2024 at Sport Complex, UMP Gambang Campus. In this exhibition, researchers submit their very best outcome of research projects, and at the same time to identify the potential projects to be participated in local and oversea exhibition.

Pada 8 Mei 2024, satu sesi kelas maya global dijalankan menerusi pelantar Google Meet oleh Jabatan Matematik, Unversitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau Indonesia, dan Pusat Sains Matematik (PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah.
