On May 18, 2024, Mathelites Club organized a charity program to visit Pusat Jagaan Hembusan Kasih Sayang orphanage in Kuantan. The event, which ran from 8 AM to 2 PM, was attended by Dr. Adam Shariff bin Adli Aminuddin, the Head of the Data Analytics Program. The day was full with interesting activities for the orphans, instilling a sense of community and joy. The activities began with an ice-breaking session to help everyone get acquainted, followed by an energetic aerobics session to start the day on a lively note.

Bootcamp Careers 2024 - PSM feat. TalentCorp

The Career Bootcamp 2024 program is an initiative for students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today's dynamic job market. This program was carried out on May 31, 2024 as a collaboration between the PSM UMPSA and the UMPSA Career Center. It involved five lecturers and 80 participants from Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honours. This program is held to help students who are going to industrial training, those who have yet to find a job, and those who are going to WBL prepare attractive and quality resumes.

On Friday, May 31st, 2024, the Centre for Mathematical Sciences UMPSA, hosted a Data Analytics Industrial Talk. The renowned economist and CFA, Mohammad Bazli Che Rozenan, Head of FX, Rates, and Commodities Research at Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), delivered the talk titled "Unlocking Economic Insight: The Imperative Role of R Language in the Financial Industry." This talk provided students with a valuable opportunity to observe the practical application of mathematics in the real world, specifically within the financial sector.
