Phase Two Workshop on Developing Self-Instructional Materials (SIM) for the New Master's Degree Program via Open and Distance Learning (ODL)

On 29 and 30 July, 2025, the Centre for Mathematical Science (PSM) organized a workshop Phase Two Workshop on Developing Self-Instructional Materials (SIM) for the New Master's Degree Program via Open and Distance Learning (ODL). This  workshop was held at ZDK04 was attended by lecturers who will be developing SIM for this program.

The workshop was conducted by the Head of the Master’s Program, Ts. Dr. Azlyna binti Senawi, and Instructional Designer from the Centre of Instructional Resources and e-Learning (CIReL), Ms. Nursurainie binti Mohamed Shateri.

Ts. Dr. Azlyna shared the use of Napkin AI in the development of SIM to make the teaching materials more attractive and well-structured. Ms. Nursurainie, on the other hand, shared about SIM design using the TINTA platform.

It is hoped that this two-day workshop will provide inspiration to the lecturers and lead to the creation of engaging SIM for the program.
