The Centre for Foundation Studies in Science and Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), successfully organised the Preparatory Programme for Transition to Undergraduate Studies for Foundation in Science and Technology (AST) students on 30th of May 2025 at the Library Auditorium, UMPSA Gambang Campus. This programme was specifically designed to provide students with exposure to the various bachelor's degree programmes offered by the different faculties at UMPSA, as well as to deliver clear information about the dual degree programmes available.
On May 24, 2025, two teams, TYSME and Data Dazzlers from the Bachelor of Data Analytics program at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, UMPSA, were ranked among the top 20 out of 71 teams in the Data Challenge 4.0 competition, organized by the Statistics Club, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
PSM UMPSA successfully organised 5th International Conference on Applied & Industrial Mathematics and Statistics 2025 (ICoAIMS 2025) on May 23 - 24, 2025 at The Pearl Kuala Lumpur Hotel. The event was officiated by Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation), Prof. Ts. Dr. Aida binti Mustapha.
An MS ISO 9001: 2015 (Teaching and Learning) and Undergraduate Academic Quality Management System (AQMS-UG) Internal Audit visit to the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM) was conducted on May 15, 2025.
