On November 8, 2024, the Maths Explorer program took place successfully at Sekolah Kebangsaan Pandan (SoPAN) in Kuantan, Pahang. Organized by Pusat Sains Matematik (PSM), UMPSA, the program was sponsored by the Professor Turun Padang (PTP) grant from the Jabatan Jaringan Industri & Masyarakat, UMPSA.

Hearty Congratulations to four Year 2 students of Data Analytics from PSM who have successfully advanced to the final round of the MALAYSIA DATA INNOVATION TALENT x DOSM DATATHON 2024 as one of the Top 10 Finalist Teams. The remarkable team named themselves as “BAMADAMS”, consist of Yip Yoong Eng, Chuan En Huan, Tion Jia Le, and Soh Hoh Yang under the supervision of Dr Siti Zanariah binti Satari.

Congratulations to BSD Graduates at UMPSA’s 19th Convocation Ceremony!

The 19th Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), held from 26th to 29th October 2024 at the Sports Complex Hall, Gambang Campus, celebrated the achievements of 5,115 graduates as they received their degree as a whole.

PSM UMPSA conducted Basic Occupational First Aid (BOFA) Course and Training 2024

The Occupational Safety and Health Committee (OSHC) at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences organized a Basic Occupational First Aid (BOFA) course and training on October 18, 2024, at ZDK04, Block Z, UMPSA Gambang. The BOFA training was designed and conducted according to the Guidelines on First Aid in the Workplace (2nd Edition), 2004, and the OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ACT 1994 (ACT 514) PART VII SECTION 30 (1). The participants were taught basic life support skills such as CPR and choking, as well as other first aid topics like bleeding and wounds, burns and scalds, fractures, and spinal injuries.
