The project entitled “Interactive Cake-like MOOC Calculus” received a gold medal at the 31st International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX’20) organised by the Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS) and C.I.S Network Sdn Bhd (C.I.S) on 20-21 November 2020. The Calculus subject is blended into a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). Rather than the traditional method in learning Calculus, the platform provides an alternative way of learning. MOOC is conducted fully online with no limit number of enrolments, allowing anyone to participate, while the learning activities and assessments taking place over the web.

The project entitled “Predictive Model for Pandemic Outbreaks: In Response to COVID-19” received a gold medal at the Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2020 Special Edition - COVID-19 International Innovation Awards, organised by Professional Trade Exhibitions & Meeting Planners (PROTEMP) on 2 November 2020.

On Tuesday, 6th October 2020, Applied & Industrial Mathematics and Statistics (AIMs) Research Cluster, Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) has organized a virtual monthly colloquium through the Google Meet platform. The presenter is Miss Sarah Alyaa binti Mohd Khaidi, a Master by Research candidate who is supervised by Dr. Noratikah Abu and co-supervised by Dr. Noryanti Muhammad. The presentation entitled New Tourism Product Forecasting – A Study of Different Potential Markets.
