Through this valuable session, students from ITS Indonesia are able to interact with the lecturers from Malaysia in online session through Zoom meeting platform.  GLP is a part of initiative to strengthen collaboration between ITS and UMP that allow students from both institutions to gain additional insight and knowledge.

Industrial Talk "Application of Mathematics in Mechanical Integrity: Risk Based Inspection"

Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) UMP has organised the Industrial Talk Master of Science (Industrial Mathematics) entitled Application of Mathematics in Mechanical Integrity: Risk Based Inspection. In this session, the importance of mathematics in risk assessment has been highlighted and the RBI methodology (API 581) which include probability of failure (PoF), consequences of failure (CoF), risk assessment and mitigation plan have been addressed.
