The Applied & Industrial Mathematics and Statistics (AIMs) Research Cluster, Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) has organized the 4th Monthly Mathematical Colloquium (MMC) 2021 on Friday, 9th April 2021. As in the previous session, this event is exclusively brought online via the Google Meet platform. In the 1st slot session, Ms Syafiqah Hanis Mohd Fauzi, a Master by Research student, supervised by Dr Norazaliza Mohd Jamil has shared her research entitled Modified Mathematical Model for Oxidation Pond. The 2nd slot session is the Library Information Literacy Skills shared by Mrs Affida Abu Bakar, the Senior Librarian from UMP Library.

The 11th CITREx 2021 received a total of 276 entries from UMP, other local university and schools. There are 3 categories contested; staff/postgraduate category, student category and the school category. The researchers from the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS UMP) have proved their superiority by won seven medals in this exposition.
