An Industrial Training Talk & Data Science Project was held on 7th February 2022 at Blok Z, UMP Gambang. The talk that was delivered by Dr. Siti Zanariah Satari, Dr. Chuan Zun Liang, Dr. Sahimel Azwal Sulaiman was attended by fifteen third year students from Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honours who will undergo Work Based Learning (WBL) training at the industries in March.

A Yasin recitation and Hajat Prayer session was held on 3rd of February 2022 in conjunction with the final exam week and to pray for a smooth sailing process of Work Based Learning for Data Analytics students. The online session that is conducted via Microsoft Teams was led by our Deputy Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr Mohd Sham Mohamad.

A sharing session for Data Science Programming I course was held on 4th January 2022 from 2 to 4 pm online. An industrial representative, En. Mohd Hafidz Zulkifli, a data scientist from Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd. is invited to share a talk titled ‘Career as a Data Scientist and how Python is used in the industry’.
