ThinkMath Talks 2/2026

On 3 April 2026, the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), in collaboration with Hebei University (HBU), China, successfully organized ThinkMath Talks (TMT) 2/2026. Unlike TMT 1/2026, this session featured two research lecturers, following the tradition of inviting international guest speakers. The session began with Professor Saminathan Ponnusamy from the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India, who delivered a lecture entitled “On Univalent Harmonic Mappings.”

The program continued with Professor Francesco Leonetti from the Department of Information Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics, University of L’Aquila, Italy, who presented a lecture entitled “Maximum Principle: What Else?”

The event attracted academics from HBU, as well as lecturers and postgraduate students from the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, further strengthening international academic collaboration and cross-border knowledge exchange. The Centre extends its sincere appreciation to all speakers and participants for their active engagement. ThinkMath Talks continues to serve as an international platform for researchers to share innovative work in mathematics, statistics, and related fields.
