Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness Briefing at UMPSA

On 30 March 2026, the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), hosted a visit from the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Unit of UMPSA Holdings, led by Mr. Mohammad Azam bin Abdul Rahman. During the visit, a Safety, Health and Well-being Awareness Briefing was delivered to members of the CMS, UMPSA community.

The briefing was conducted as part of an ongoing effort to enhance awareness of safe work practices, health care, and risk management in the workplace. It aimed to ensure that participants gain a clearer understanding of their responsibilities and rights regarding safety and health in their respective working environments.

Through the session, participants were reminded that awareness of hazards and risks is not solely the responsibility of employers, but also the right of every employee to be informed about the necessary preventive measures.

Such initiatives are essential in strengthening a safe, healthy, and conducive work culture, ensuring the well-being of all staff while supporting more productive and sustainable operations. It is hoped that all PSM members will continue to foster a safer and healthier working environment .
