PSM UMPSA conducted Workshop on Rigorous Assessment and Process Flow for Postgraduate Studies at Hotel Zenith Kuantan

On August 21-22, 2024, the Postgraduate Unit of PSM UMPSA organized a workshop on rigorous assessment and process flow for postgraduate studies at Hotel Zenith Kuantan. 23 academic and administrative staff attended.
The workshop aimed to enhance the assessment process for research mode postgraduate student applications, aligning with the revised IPS 2024 Academic Rulebook and MQA standards.
Additionally, the workshop focused on improving the research work processes at PSM, including grant application and evaluation, MoU/MoA preparation, grant monitoring, consultancy and technical services, and industry training.
The workshop also drafted and reviewed SC, EE, and IAP panel feedback, planning the implementation of their recommendations. Existing work procedures were evaluated for relevance and alignment with UMP's academic guidelines.
The unit also prepared materials for the PSM portal to increase visibility and provide essential information to all stakeholders.
By implementing these improvements, the Postgraduate Unit aims to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality postgraduate programs.
