Profesor Turun Padang: Add Maths Tri-Focus SPM (Math Honeycomb) at SMK Sultan Ahmad, Pekan

The 'Profesor Turun Padang' Program, featuring the Add Maths Tri-Focus SPM Math Honeycomb, was successfully held on June 24, 2026, at SMK Sultan Ahmad, Pekan, Pahang, from 8:45 AM to 1:15 PM.

The outreach initiative was led by Dr. Rahimah binti Jusoh @ Awang, alongside a team of faculty members including Dr. Nor Izzati binti Jaini, Dr. Laila Amera binti Aziz, Dr. Muhammad Azrin bin Ahmad, Dr. Sahimel Azwal bin Sulaiman, and Dr. Nor Hafizah binti Moslim.

The program focused on core Additional Mathematics topics, specifically Differentiation, Integration, and Probability Distribution. Students were equipped with practical exam-answering techniques, working through structured problem sets designed to reinforce foundational mathematical concepts in Algebra and Statistics. Additionally, students were provided with the Math Honeycomb—an innovative tool developed by the PSM UMPSA Kumpulan Inovatif dan Kreatif (KIK) team—which enables students to reference formulas quickly and efficiently during practice sessions.

It is hoped that this program will empower students to move beyond rote problem-solving and develop a deep conceptual understanding of the step-by-step methodologies required in mathematics.
