Centre for Mathematical Sciences Receives Recognition at UMPSA Quality and Innovation Day 2026
PEKAN, 19 June 2026 – The Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), continued to demonstrate excellence by receiving several recognitions during the UMPSA Quality and Innovation Day 2026 held at Dewan Cendekia Siswa, UMPSA Pekan Campus.
The event, themed “Kualiti Tanpa Sempadan, Inovasi Masa Hadapan” served as a platform to honour university members who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in academic, administrative, sports, and industrial collaboration fields.


During the ceremony, four PSM staff members received the 2025 Excellent Service Award (APC): Dr. Nor Azuana Binti Ramli, Dr. Nor Izzati Binti Jaini, Dr. Noraziah Binti Adzhar, and Puan Wan Nafisah Binti Wan Ibrahim. The recognition was awarded in appreciation of their dedication, commitment, and excellence in carrying out their responsibilities at the university.
PSM also achieved notable success in sports when Puan Ezrinda Binti Mohd Zaihidee received the Best Team Sports Award for the tenpin bowling event.


In addition, the Best Industry Partner Award presented to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) reflected the strong strategic collaboration between UMPSA and industry partners in strengthening academic cooperation and professional development initiatives.
This achievement demonstrates the continuous commitment of PSM members toward fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork, aligning with the university’s aspiration to remain competitive and distinguished at both national and international levels.
