Malam Apresiasi Tahun 3: "A Night to Remember" Celebrates Future WBL Journey

Kuantan, 16 January 2025 – The Year 3 students of the Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honours program gathered for an unforgettable evening at the Malam Apresiasi Tahun 3: “A Night to Remember” held at D’ Banquet Hotel, Kuantan, on 16 January 2025. The dinner, themed "Garden Theme", served as a celebration of the students’ achievements and a heartfelt send-off as they prepare to embark on their Work-Based Learning (WBL) journey.
Organized by the student club Mathelites, the event ran from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, bringing together students and lecturers in a warm and joyous atmosphere. The evening was graced by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Sham Mohamad, Dean of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, who officiated the dinner with an inspiring opening speech.
Dr. Mohd Sham commended the students on their accomplishments and encouraged them to embrace the opportunities and challenges of WBL with enthusiasm and resilience. “This dinner is a celebration of your hard work and dedication, and it marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in your academic and professional journey,” he remarked.
The evening featured a series of entertaining performances, heartfelt speeches, and the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the lecturers. The event not only celebrated the students’ impending transition but also strengthened the bond between students and faculty.
