BSD3523 Machine Learning Global Classroom with a Lecturer from Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS)

On 23rd December 2025, the Centre for Mathematical Sciences UMPSA successfully hosted a Global Classroom session for the Machine Learning (BSD3523) course in collaboration with the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS).

Dr.rer.pol. Dedy Dwi Prastyo, an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Statistics at ITS, delivered a lecture on Unsupervised Learning, a type of machine learning that discovers hidden patterns and structures in unlabeled data.

A total of 60 students from the Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honours attended this lecture via Microsoft Teams in the classroom. This program connected students with international perspectives, enriching their educational experience.
