PSM UMPSA through Essential Engineering Mathematics course Hosts Global Classroom with Lecturer from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University
On Monday, December 29, 2025, lecturers for the foundation-level course Essential Engineering Mathematics (FSM1025), who are Dr. Muhammad Azrin bin Ahmad, Dr. Rahimah binti Jusoh @ Awang, Dr. Nor Hafizah binti Moslim, Miss Nur Zahirah binti Md Noor, and Madam Ashikin binti Rahman, hosted a Global Classroom session featuring Dr. Fatimah Alghamdi from the Department of Mathematical Sciences, College of Science, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Fatimah delivered an insightful lecture on Central Tendency Measurements (Mean, Median, and Mode), a key subtopic within the Introduction to Statistics chapter. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A segment, where students had the opportunity to interact directly with the international guest speaker.
The students expressed great enthusiasm for the session, gaining unique perspectives and global knowledge from the comfort of their own campus. PSM UMPSA looks forward to organizing more international collaborations to provide students with valuable exposure to global academic expertise.
