Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) has successfully organised an Industrial talk with Cybersecurity Malaysia on Thursday, 5 March 2020. The event is being held as a part of Storytelling and Data Visualization course for Data Analytics Programme. Three speakers from Cybersecurity Malaysia were invited to share their experience and thought on Digital Forensic & Data Visualization for Digital Forensic Analysis.
Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) has successfully organised a Monthly Mathematical Colloquium (MMC) 1/2020 on Wednesday, 26 February 2020. To kick off the first MMC of the year 2020, CMS had invited two speakers. One of them is our very own colleague, Dr Najihah binti Mohamed and the other is an external speaker from Suleyman Demirel University, Almaty, Kazakhstan, Mr Yershat Sapazhanov.
Institut Statistik Malaysia (ISM) organises a Seminar Kebangsaan Institut Statistik Malaysia Ke-14 (SKISM-XIV) & Mesyuarat Agung ISM 2019/2020 on 25 February 2020 at Institut Sains Matematik, Universiti Malaya. Pusat Sains Matematik Universiti Malaysia Pahang is represented by Associate Professor Dr. Roslinazairimah who is also an Election Officer of ISM since 2016-2020.
The project is focused on the data analytics of social programs or activities organised by YBR with the aim to determine the impact of the programs. Data Science team will analyse the data and to suggest a YBR social impact dashboard.
