Work Based Learning (WBL) Workshop with Industry Coach for Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honours Program, Centre for Mathematical Sciences

On 7 September 2024, a WBL workshop with Industry Coach has already been successfully conducted at Tamu Hotel & Suites, Kuala Lumpur.

The objective of this workshop is to hold a familiarization session between the Academic Tutor and the Industry Coach, to provide exposure and explanation of the Industry Coach's role in the WBL approach and to provide information and training to the Industry Coach regarding the evaluation procedure for the WBL course.

This workshop was attended by 17 staff members of the Mathematical Sciences Center led by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Mohd Zuki Salleh. This workshop was also attended by a total of 15 Industry Coaches from 17 different industries such as Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad, Telekom Malaysia Berhad, Cybersecurity Malaysia, Abyres Enterprise Technologies Sdn Bhd, Companies Commission Malaysia (SSM), Najeehah International Sdn Bhd, Ever AI Holdings Sdn Bhd, Quandatics Academy Sdn Bhd, TT Electronics, Strateq System Sdn. Bhd, UMPSA Advanced Education Sdn Bhd, Involve Asia Sdn Bhd, LEAD Sdn, Bhd, FGV Prodata System Sdn Bhd, Kanaz Group, Prasarana Malaysia Berhad and Emergence Innovative Sdn. Bhd.

With the end of this workshop, it is hoped that the Data Analytics students will benefit when they start undergoing Industrial Training in their respective industries starting next year.
