UMPSA and CyberSecurity Malaysia Commitment to WBL Partnership

CYBERJAYA, 19 June 2026 – Representatives from the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), conducted a visit to CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM) to strengthen the long-standing collaboration between both institutions in implementing Work-Based Learning (WBL). UMPSA was represented by Dr. Norhafizah Sarif, Dr. Adam Shariff Adli Aminuddin, and Dr. Nur Haizum Abd Rahman, while CSM was represented by Ts. Mohammad Zaharudin Ahmad Darus.

The visit also provided an opportunity to engage with six students from the Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honours programme who are currently undertaking their WBL placement at CSM. The discussion focused on reviewing the students’ placement experience, ensuring their well-being and identifying appropriate support to help them complete their training successfully.

Both parties exchanged constructive feedback and discussed measures to further enhance the students’ learning experience. The meeting also reaffirmed the shared commitment of UMPSA and CSM to sustaining their existing partnership and continuing to provide meaningful industry exposure for future cohorts. This ongoing collaboration reflects both institutions' commitment to developing industry-ready graduates equipped with relevant technical knowledge, practical skills and professional experience.
