Kem Kepimpinan Lestari SK Sungai Isap
On October 11, 2025, a total of 44 students of Foundation Studies in Science and Technology (AST), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) successfully organized the Sustainable Leadership Camp at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Isap, Kuantan. The program was conducted as part of the Talent Development course, facilitated by Madam Haslinda and Dr. Ahmad Muhaimin, where students are required to showcase their ability to plan and conduct motivational programs for school students.

The camp provided an excellent platform for AST students to demonstrate their leadership and organizational skills through a series of engaging and educational activities. Among the highlights were a motivational talk, team-building games, scavenger hunt, treasure hunt, and a creative craft-making session using leaves, flowers, and recycled materials. The program concluded with a symbolic activity, ‘Plant a Sapling Corner’, emphasizing environmental awareness and sustainability.
Beyond benefiting the primary school participants, this program also served as a meaningful learning experience for AST students. It allowed them to strengthen their leadership qualities, communication skills, and self-confidence while fostering teamwork, responsibility, and empathy; the key elements emphasized in the Talent Development syllabus.

Kem Kepimpinan Lestari reflects UMPSA’s continuous commitment to nurturing well-rounded students who embody leadership, sustainability, and social responsibility values, while contributing positively to the community and environment.
