Researcher at PSM UMPSA secured Kurita Overseas Research Grant 2023

A researcher from the Centre for Mathematical Sciences UMPSA, Dr Tay Chai Jian has secured a Kurita Overseas Research Grant from Kurita Water and Environment Foundation (KWEF) with a total fund of JPY 400,000.
The title of the research project is Sustainable Tropical Lake Management in Response to Climate Change. This grant will commence for a period of 12 months, starting from 1st October 2023 to 30th September 2024.
Hopefully, this will spark off more research grants involving the researchers in the Centre for Mathematical Sciences.
