PSM UMPSA Researchers Successfully Secure International Funding for Mathematical Approach to Rice Field Project

We are thrilled to announce that our PSM UMPSA researchers have successfully secured an International Matching Grant for their project titled "Dynamic Roguing Model for Controlling Transmission of Tungro Virus in Rice Fields."
This prestigious project, led by Dr. Laila Amera binti Aziz, is a collaboration with Universitas Katolik Parahyangan and will commence on April 1, 2025, with completion scheduled for November 30, 2026. The grant, amounting to RM21,500, will support a dedicated team of researchers, including Professor Dr. Mohd Zuki bin Salleh, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Mohd Kasim, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zulkhibri bin Ismail @ Mustofa, and Dr. Adeosun Adeshina Taofeeq from PSM. The project also benefits from the expertise of external collaborator Dr. Livia Owen from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan.
