The programme commenced with a briefing on the Foundation in Science and Technology programme delivered by the programme coordinator. During the session, students were introduced to the programme structure, including the subjects offered in each semester and the importance of selecting appropriate language subjects based on their intended undergraduate programmes. Students were also reminded of the importance of passing all subjects throughout their foundation studies to ensure a smooth transition to their chosen undergraduate programmes in the future.

In addition to the academic briefing, the programme featured an ice-breaking session designed to encourage communication, promote teamwork, and strengthen relationships among students and academic advisors. Various group activities were also conducted to create a relaxed and enjoyable learning environment. These included a team game involving the movement of objects using straws, which required effective communication, coordination, and cooperation among team members. Students also participated in a game of charades and a colourful paper-based reaction game that tested their concentration, agility, and ability to follow instructions accurately.
