PSM UMPSA Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics students participated in Data Challenge 4.0 organised by Statistics Club UKM

On May 24, 2025, two teams, TYSME and Data Dazzlers from the Bachelor of Data Analytics program at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, UMPSA, were ranked among the top 20 out of 71 teams in the Data Challenge 4.0 competition, organized by the Statistics Club, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. A pitching session was held to determine the winning teams, and TYSME successfully earned a consolation prize.

The TYSME and Data Dazzlers teams were mentored by Dr. Siti Zanariah Satari and Associate Professor Dr. Roslinazairimah Zakaria, respectively. A total of six teams from UMPSA initially participated in the competition, demonstrating their knowledge and skills in data analysis and modeling. 

The event also provided students with valuable opportunities to expand their professional networks among participants. It attracted teams from both public and private universities across Malaysia.
