Preparatory Programme for Transition to Undergraduate Studies for Foundation in Science and Technology
The Centre for Foundation Studies in Science and Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), successfully organised the Preparatory Programme for Transition to Undergraduate Studies for Foundation in Science and Technology (AST) students on 30th of May 2025 at the Library Auditorium, UMPSA Gambang Campus. This programme was specifically designed to provide students with exposure to the various bachelor's degree programmes offered by the different faculties at UMPSA, as well as to deliver clear information about the dual degree programmes available.
A total of 54 AST students attended and benefited from the sharing sessions delivered by the following speakers:
- Dr. Adam Shariff bin Adli Aminuddin (Head of Data Analytics Programme, Centre for Mathematical Sciences, UMPSA)
- Chm. Dr. Nazikussabah binti Zaharudin (Head of Industrial Chemistry Programme, Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology, UMPSA)
- Ts. Dr. Rokiah binti Othman (Head of Bachelor of Civil Engineering Technology (Building) Programme, Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology, UMPSA)
- Mr. Muhammad Amirul Hakim bin Mustafa (Representative, Centre for Marketing and Academic Admission, UMPSA)
Also present at the event was Dr. Fahanim binti Misni, who presented tokens of appreciation to the guest speakers as a gesture of gratitude for their contributions.Overall, the programme successfully provided students with valuable insights and clearer understanding, helping them make more informed decisions regarding their future field of study at the tertiary level.
