The Exposure to Mandarin Language Event 2024 offered a range of enriching activities for participants, focusing primarily on providing a basic introduction to the Mandarin language. Language learning sessions were designed to engage the students actively, allowing them to familiarize themselves with essential Mandarin phrases and expressions. These sessions not only introduced the foundational aspects of the language but also laid a strong groundwork for those who would later pursue Mandarin in their second semester.

In addition to language learning, the event emphasized the importance of cultural exposure. Participants were immersed in various cultural activities, which may have included the history of chopstick, games, and explanation about Chinese customs and traditions. These activities were thoughtfully curated to enhance students’ understanding of the cultural contexts in which the language is used, making the learning process more holistic and interactive.
