On November 8, 2024, the Maths Explorer program took place successfully at Sekolah Kebangsaan Pandan (SoPAN) in Kuantan, Pahang. Organized by Pusat Sains Matematik (PSM), UMPSA, the program was sponsored by the Professor Turun Padang (PTP) grant from the Jabatan Jaringan Industri & Masyarakat, UMPSA. It was also a collaborative effort between PSM, Yakult (M) Sdn Bhd, Angkatan Belia Malaysia (Pahang), and the PIBG of SoPAN. The program aimed to help students understand key mathematical concepts such as numbers, basic operations, rounding, and sequences. To achieve these goals, the Magnet Nombor module was introduced, and students were also exposed to the real-world application of numbers in daily life. Additionally, the Gelang 3P module focused on teaching the concepts of fractions, decimals, and percentages. Students had the opportunity to compare and perform operations on these numbers in practical contexts. Beyond improving mathematical skills, the program also aimed to foster positive values through collaboration among students.

As the leader of the PTP program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yuhani Yusof emphasized that the activity also nurtured creativity, artistry, entrepreneurship, and awareness of the importance of recycling and technology in STEM education. This was highlighted by the production of a video at the end of the module. A formal agreement between SoPAN and PSM, UMPSA was signed at the end of the program. Overall, the Maths Explorer program not only enhanced students' mathematical abilities but also strengthened the value of cooperation among them. It is hoped that this program will continue in the future to provide even greater benefits to students.
