PSM UMPSA Hosts Kemaman Bitumen Corporation (KBC) Sdn. Bhd. for Collaboration Talks

On 14 March 2025, the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) received a visit from Kemaman Bitumen Corporation (KBC) Sdn. Bhd., led by Mr. Ahmad Anwar Zikri Othman, to discuss potential collaboration between the Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) team at CMS and KBC.
The UMPSA team was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norhayati Rosli, along with team members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noryanti Muhammad, Mr. Mohd Khairul Hafiz Khairuldin, and Dr. Norhafizah Md. Sarif. Madam Nurul Haida Idrus from the Innovation and Commercial Management Centre (ICC) also joined the discussion to provide advice on procurement and process.
A brief introduction to UMPSA and CMS was presented, along with past successful consultation and technical services, as well as the PSTT application during the meeting. A demonstration of the RISKSmart Learning System was also conducted. It was a fruitful discussion, and for a next step, a kick-off meeting will be held at KBC to initiate the RBI consultation work.
