International Collaboration in Mathematical Sciences: Mie University Delegation Visits UMPSA

Gambang, February 22, 2024 (Thursday) - In a bid to foster international cooperation and academic exchange, a distinguished delegation from Mie University graced the premises of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), University Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). Led by Prof. Satoshi Kaneko, Special Vice President for International Affairs, and Prof. Masataka Kubo, Special Vice President for Education Reforms, the visit aimed to explore avenues for collaboration in the field of mathematical sciences.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended by PSM's lead, Dean Prof. Dr. Mohd Zuki Salleh, along with esteemed faculty members including Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Sham bin Mohamad and Dr. Zulkhibri bin Ismail @ Mustofa. Also in attendance was Prof. Madya Ir. Ts. Dr. Faiz bin Mohd Turan, Dean of the Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering and Mechatronics.
A structured agenda unfolded throughout the morning, beginning with welcoming speeches and briefings on UMPSA and PSM, delivered by respective dignitaries.
