Congratulations PSM staff for successfully completing Image Processing and Computer Vision with Industrial Applications Course

On October 5 - 7, 2022, six staff at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences consisting of  Dr Rozieana Khairuddin, Dr Najihah Mohamed, Dr Muhammad Azrin Ahmad, Dr Ku Muhammad Na’im Ku Khalif, Dr Noraziah Adzhar and Dr Nadirah Mohd Nasir have successfully joined and completed the three days of Image Processing and Computer Vision with Industrial Applications Course. The training was conducted by Centre for Advanced and Professional Education (CAPE-UTP) via Microsoft Teams platform and the course is a part  of Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) training. The trainers for the course are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nasreen Badruddin and Dr. Lila Iznita Izhar.

The objective of attending this training is to gain knowledge and exposure on the fundamental image processing technique that are used in computer vision applications. With the knowledge attained from attending the training, the staff obtained more understanding about the image processing technique and the relation of these techniques to applications in industry, hence their insight into the application of the mathematical image processing will be deepened and broad.

Through completion of this training, staff will be able to apply the image processing knowledge to delivery the teaching for Mathematical Image Processing Course offered by Master of Science (Industrial Mathematics).
