Centre for Mathematical Sciences Community Celebrates UMPSA-Level Maulidur Rasul 1448H
PEKAN, 28 August 2026 – Staff and students from the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), participated in the UMPSA-level Maulidur Rasul (Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday) celebration for 1448H/2026M, held today at the UMPSA Pekan Convocation Hall. The procession was led by UMPSA Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Prof. Ts. Dr. Kamal Yusoh, alongside the university’s management team and 22 contingents representing various departments and faculties.


The event, themed “MADANI Dihayati, Ummah Diberkati” (Embracing MADANI, Blessing the Ummah), was organized to foster a deeper appreciation of the *Sirah* (biography), character, and struggles of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), while strengthening bonds of brotherhood and a sense of unity among the university community.


The celebration was further enriched by a talk titled “Menyemai Cinta, Meneladani Rasulullah SAW” (Cultivating Love, Emulating Prophet Muhammad SAW), delivered by independent preacher Ustaz Muhammad Haris bin Mohd Ismail (PU Riz).
The participation of the PSM community in this event reflects their commitment to supporting university programs and embodying the noble values exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in their daily lives and work.


May this celebration continue to ignite love for Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and strengthen the values of MADANI, brotherhood, and integrity among the members of PSM and UMPSA.
