Preparing SIM - Phase One Workshop for MSc (Industrial Mathematics) ODL program

On March 6, 2025, the Centre for Mathematical Science (PSM) organized a workshop “Bengkel Penyediaan Self Instructional Materials (SIM) Fasa Pertama bagi Program Sarjana Matematik Industri dalam format pembelajaran jarak jauh (ODL). This workshop was held at the Computer Lab PSM and attended by lecturers who will develop SIM for this program. The speaker for this workshop was Deputy Director Centre of Instructional Resources and e-Learning (CIReL), Dr. Sureena binti Abdullah.
Dr. Sureena shared the use of the H5P application, which will be used as one of the teaching materials in SIM development on the KALAM and TINTA UMPSA platforms. For the first phase, five (5) Master's Program courses will be involved in the SIM development, namely Research Methodology, Computational Mathematics in Industry, Programming and Simulation, Industrial Statistics, and Mathematical Modelling.
It is hoped that by organizing this workshop, it will be able to provide ideas to lecturers and produce interesting SIMs for this program.
