Norhayati Rosli is an Associate Professor in the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, College of Computing and Applied Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. Her research interest includes the development of new numerical methods for solving stochastic differential equations (SDEs) and stochastic delay differential equations (SDDEs). Most of SDEs and SDDEs cannot be solved analytically, hence numerical method provides a tool in handling these problems. Motivated by the relative paucity of high order numerical methods currently available for solving SDEs and SDDEs, the focusing of her research is on the development of derivative-free numerical methods for SDEs and SDDEs. Furthermore, she is focusing as well on stochastic modelling of biological and physical systems. Biological and physical systems are highly nonlinear and subjected to the presence of environmental noise and time delay. The study involves many disciplines such as biological science, engineering, stochastic analysis, dynamical systems, computer simulation and numerical analysis. The direction of this research involves both theoretical analysis and experimental work which specifically address the experimental study of the dynamical systems in the presence of noise and time delay.
