My research focuses on the applied statistics and operational research. My main past research contributions are designing rain gauge network system using geostatistics and simulated annealing hybrid with particle swarm optimization as the optimization method. This research use rainfall, humidity, elevation, solar radiation, wind speed and temperature data to determine the optimal number and locations for the rain gauge network based on the estimated variance calculated. My past research also involves stochastic modelling on estimating the c.acetobutylicum solvent productions acetone, butanol and ethanol during the fermentation process.
