The Back to Basic program is an initiative of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences organised by the Mathematics Support Center (MSC) Committee with the main objective to assist undergraduate students in Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) in strengthening their basic knowledge of Mathematics. Thus, on March 26, 2021, the virtual Back to Basic (V-B2B) program was conducted online via Microsoft Teams.

The 3rd Monthly Mathematical Colloquium 2021 has been held through the Google Meet platform on Friday, 26th March 2021. This event exclusively organized by Applied & Industrial Mathematics and Statistics (AIMs) Research Cluster, Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS). Two speakers have been invited for this session: Dr Sahimel Azwal Sulaiman and Ms Siti Nabihah Othman, a Master by Research student, supervised by Dr Norazaliza Mohd Jamil.
Through this valuable session, students from ITS Indonesia are able to interact with the lecturers from Malaysia in online session through Zoom meeting platform. GLP is a part of initiative to strengthen collaboration between ITS and UMP that allow students from both institutions to gain additional insight and knowledge.
