On July 2, 2024, Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honours students gathered in ZDK04 for an insightful talk on Work-Based Learning (WBL). The session, led by Dr. Mohd Khairul Bazli Mohd Aziz, focused on preparing students for their upcoming industry internships. Dr. Mohd Khairul Bazli emphasized the importance of WBL in bridging academic knowledge and real-world application, outlining how this program helps students gain practical experience, develop professional skills, and enhance their employability.

During the talk, Dr. Mohd Khairul Bazli provided a detailed overview of the WBL program's structure and planning. He explained the step-by-step process students will undergo, from securing internship placements to setting learning objectives and completing assessments. The discussion also covered essential aspects such as Academic Tutor and Industry Coach support, workplace etiquette, and the integration of academic and hands-on learning. By the end of the session, students felt more informed and confident about transitioning into their internships, equipped with the knowledge and guidance needed to succeed in the industry.
