The Innovative & Creative Group (KIK) PSM UMPSA Hosts a Workshop for Mathematics Formula Kit Project

Kuantan, 23 July 2025, the Innovative & Creative Group (KIK) from the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), held a dedicated workshop at Hotel Grand Darul Makmur, Kuantan, to finalize documentation for their latest innovative project, Math Honeycomb.

This project, Math Honeycomb, is a mathematics formula kit developed to assist students in memorizing mathematical formulas through a simplified method. It aims to provide a more accessible and structured approach to learning formulas, especially for students who struggle with basic mathematical concepts.

The workshop was part of the team’s preparation for the upcoming university level innovation competition scheduled for November this year. Throughout the session, team members focused on enhancing project documentation, aligning it with competition standards, and discussing the product’s presentation.

Interactive discussions and collaborative planning played a major role in the workshop, with participants contributing ideas to improve the usability and educational value of the Math Honeycomb kit. The event served not only as a technical refinement session but also as a platform to encourage teamwork and collective innovation.

The Math Honeycomb initiative reflects UMPSA’s ongoing commitment to educational innovation and creative teaching aids. By making mathematical learning more intuitive, the project hopes to support students’ academic success and contribute positively to Malaysia's STEM education goals.
